One of Egypt’s main industries is that of tourism, so you will find available accommodation in all the large cities. The hotels on offer vary depending on your choice and the money you are able to spend, finding from deluxe hotels to youth hostels. The main cities have moderately priced quality hotels, which must be booked well in advance, especially during the winter months. Smaller hotels are very good value. Hotel bills are subject to a tax and service charge of 12%.

Youth Hostels
Egyptian Youth Hostels Association has got a total of sixteen youth hostels which are affiliated and you can find them mainly in large towns, on the coast and in popular tourist regions.
