International Schools in Italy

International Baccalaureate in International Schools
In the year 1968, it was created the International Baccalaureate Organization’s Diploma Programme which is a demanding pre-university course of study in order to be prepared to access university examinations. The aim of this course is to prepare those secondary and international school students who are aged between 16 and 19. The programme has earned a reputation for rigorous assessment, giving IB diploma holders from International Schools access to the world’s leading universities.
According to the Diploma Programme’s grading system, each student’s performance is graded according to well-defined levels of achievement, which are criterion-referenced. The differences from one examination session to the next are minimum in order to be applied equally to all schools. For more than 30 years, the fact is that the IBO has shown that students are well prepared for any university work and that is why they can be accepted by universities in more than 110 countries.
